Join CARES Foundation & our Centers of Excellence at some of the great CAH Awareness Family Fun Day events in 2026! Take advantage of these opportunities to connect with other patients, families, and medical professionals! 

May 30, 2026 – Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP)

Classical CAH Family Fun Day-special day designed to bring together families living with CAH for education, support, and meaningful connection in a safe and welcoming environment.

Parents/Caregivers and children living with CAH. Young adults with CAH- All children can attend.

June 6, 2026 – Cook Children’s Medical Center

The Family Day at the Fort Worth Zoo will provide children with CAH and their families with a meaningful opportunity for connection, education, and joy in a supportive, non-clinical environment. The event will serve to support family well-being, community building, and health education while reinforcing a message of inclusion and resilience for children living with CAH.

We are going to have free admission for 3 family members (all kids under 2 do not count as a guest).

For those wanting to bring additional family members, we are working to see if we will be able to cover that or if there will be a fee for additional guests ($20/person).

June 6, 2026 – Seattle Children’s Hospital

Spend your day at the Woodland Park Zoo

• Participate in interactive injection training sessions
• Enjoy Arts & Crafts with Camp Korey
• Make sure to stay for the Pizza Party”

June 27, 2026 – Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles (CHLA)

Fun outing for our local CAH community aiming to decrease social isolation and stigma associated with CAH and adrenal insufficiency.

The Los Angeles Zoo is a fun, safe environment for youth with CAH and their families.

June 27, 2026 – Riley Children’s Hospital

The Day at the Indianapolis Zoo will be designed to promote social connection, learning, and well-being among participants.

Different tables for families to stop at for educational purposes.  Families can stay all day once they have their tickets.

August 30, 2026 – UT Southwestern Medical Center/Children’s Medical Center

This event is designed to bring together patients and families for a day of education, connection, and community support as they navigate their medical journeys.
