We are so excited to be partnering with CARES to raise awareness for the CAH community! As a family, this will be our 2nd year participating in the Annual Iowa CAH Awareness 5K, and we are fortunate to be bringing it right here to our area. Roughly one in every 15,000 babies in the United States are born with classic CAH, with one being our very own, Zander. Being from a small community, of just under 4,000 people, it was shocking to find out we were not the only family affected, but two others are as well. Raising awareness is important to us, as this will be a lifelong journey for Zander. We stand with every family affected by CAH, near and far.
