CARES sponsors regular support group meetings which were formerly via telephone and now are hosted via Zoom*. During these meetings, CAH patients, family member, caregivers and other relatives, can ask questions, make connections and get the support they need. Most, if not all, Zoom meetings will include a doctor who specializes in the treatment of CAH. Sometimes, CARES’ Support Group Leaders will also join to offer their advice and counsel as a specialized member of CARES support team.

Support group meetings are divided according to CAH type and often by age of patient. Regular meetings include:

  • Parents of CAH Children (ages newborn through age 5)
  • Parents of Children, Teens & Young Adults with CAH
  • Women with CAH
  • Pacientes y families de CAH de habla hispana (Spanish-speaking CAH patients and families)
  • Young Adults with CAH

Check our website event calendar for meeting dates.

*Please note: participants in these Zoom meetings may opt out of using video
